    Aimpoint M4 - lowest mount?

    Trying to decide between:
Larue LT659-HK 1.395" above the rail
GG&G Accucam, not sure about the height above the rail
QRP2 mount without spacer - 1.18" above rail, which looks the most promising.

There is some info here but it's missing the GG&G mount.

Would it be difficult to give GG&G a call? What are you mounting the scope on that you need it that low?

12 gauge... I also have a aimpoint t1 in LaRue 661 mount which gives a really good cheek weld but even the lowest LaRue for m4 is a bit high for my taste. So I am thinking about the factory mount that comes with m4.

Why don't you save the M4 for an AR type rifle, and get one of the Aimpoints that takes a 30mm ring for your shotgun? It will be easy to get it mounted at exactly the height you want then.

I'd just use the Factory Aimpoint Mount. Maybe turn that Comp M4 into a T1/H1 or T2/H2? Those micros will sit real low via a Factory Mount.

I tried T1, didn't really like it that much, due to smaller optics. The larger 30mm objective gives you slightly better FOV and you need less precision where you look at due to larger objective.

All the other Aimpoints use the weird and non-standard 2L76 cell, which is a deal breaker. I wonder why they don't offer the much more common CR123A Lithium cell in addition to the AA (used in M4) and drop these non-standard and relatively harder to find 2L76 / 3N devices.
Even the coin cell 2032 in T1 is a lot more common.

    ADM mount
The centerline height of the optic with the L mount is 1.25"
