    Custom Build Barrel Recommendations...

Barrel Extension: Which is better Nickel Boron or Chrome Moly?

Low Profile Gas Block: The best Low Profile Gas block for an 11.5 inch barrel with the correct Gas Port hole. I would prefer a Pinned Gas Block instead of using set screws. I would like to run this barrel with a suppressor too.

    I would appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks…

No need to pin it, but if you are insisting there are several available. Clint from Blackrivertactical.com makes one and so does Geissele. Both can be pinned. All you need to do is have a barrel with a dimple, use Loctite and you will be fine.

I agree... pinning is nice, but not needed. I use rockset on mine, just because I had a bunch and it seems to work good enough... yet you can still remove the gas block if you need to. The last one I put on I staked. I forget who here suggested it, but it looked like an effective alternative to chemical bonds.
