This is my current work gun. It was a real pita trying to find a wml setup that worked with the 203 leaf sight and the lever. This seems to be the perfect setup for me. The vfg has also been chopped into a stubby for use as a handstop.

The M952V is a great light... but does anyone know what model number or where I can find a slimmer profile tail cap? Even possibly replacing the body all together.

M620V You can also get the regular Scout light body and get the Vampire head if you don't want the larger QD mount.
Pic thread....
The Z49 or Z59 tailcaps will work in place of your XM if you don't need the pressure switch plug socket.
Unfortunately your head (KM3) will not fit on the lower profile ScoutLight series of bodies. For that you would need the KM2. You could consider selling the 952V and getting either a 620V as mentioned above, or IMO a better option would be the M600V. You could also just get an used 2 battery E-Series SF body, and slap a KM2 on it with whatever mount you want. That's what I did as you can see below.
BTW, I would recommend trying to push your light a bit further forward to prevent carbon buildup on the lens. Mine is about 1/8th inch back from being flush and gets almost no carbon build-up on the lens. Its nice for the longer night shoots. Downside is shooting supported through non-traditional shaped barricade openings (9 hole drill) gets a bit tough.
