Thanks for this. I sit at the shelf every time I want to try out a new lube for 30 min. Thanks again.

Thank you for taking your personal time to do this. Very informative.
Interesting work here.
Thanks for taking your personal time to make this happen - this kind of stuff is why I joined this board from the start.
THANKS!
Excellent thread and thanks for your test wedge. I am curious guys....has anyone tried, is there a reason not to, mix some of the known protectors with the known performer lubes? Say Ezzox and EWL?

I have used Eezox for about fifteen years. One of the reasons it is so good at preventing corrosion is it is about 30% heavier than water so it doesn't float off the surface like oils do.
According to its inventor who I spoke with back in 1996 the Eezox chemistry is different than most lubes. It will mix with synthetic oil but I'm not sure what you would gain. Eezox dries to a wax like film. Mixing it with oil makes it more like the oil and compromises its best properties.
As a dry film lube Eezox is not bad. Go to the Eezox website and read the tests. The test results are public, not secret like some other recent products.
Great extensive study.
Always used Breakfree CLP and Slip EWL but might try some weapon shield.
Thanks for the info
Now what we need is to take the top six products and do some sort of lube test...
Great test, thanks!

Great Info, thanks! Is there any chance of condensation or other moisture dripping onto lower-mounted samples?
