Thread: 4 LD Gel tests with .357 magnum 145 gr Silvertips??

    I found this while searching the net for some short barrel velocity numbers with Winchesters .357 mag 145 gr Silvertip. These velocity numbers are close to what are in the link posted above. My 640-1 is a 2 1/8" so until I chrono it myself this should be pretty close being that they are from a 2 1/4",

    So what would be considered the standard for a "controllable" load? Five shots with .20 - .25 splits with all A zone hits on an IPSC target from 5 - 7 yds?
