Why not? The flash suppressor of a NM M14 isn't open ended. Granted, it's exit is enlarged compared to a standard M14 suppressor, but it's a case of you won't know until you shoot it & find out

They are still on the list of things to do. I have a few other designs in the prototype stage that I have to complete before moving on to the suppressor adapters. I apologize, I don't have an ETA as yet.

We have done extenive testing to determine if our devices affect long range accuracy on a variety of platforms and calibers. We also have data provided by independent sources that verify our own testing results which indicate no loss of accuracy at ranges out to 900 yards.

So that would mean that your company policy or recommendation that had been stated on here several times by you and your colleague about something to the effect of these devices are better served in CQB and GP AR's and were not designed to be run on a dedicated precision rifle is now amended with the new testing in mind.

Thanks for all the informative and honest back-and-forth on the long-range accuracy issue. I will have some additional accuracy testing information before the end of this week. Preliminarily, I can tell you that I fired a 20-round (!) 100 yard group with my personal AR which, at the time of the testing, had a BCM 16" middy upper, stock nasty trigger, and 1.5 power compact ACOG. The group measured about 1.6". I wasn't particularly taking my time with each shot nor was I nicely sandbagged.

More importantly, as many of you have said, the BattleComp is NOT supposed to be a sniper rifle accessory. It is for CQB. We would prefer that folks send us back their BattleComps for a full refund before firing rather than have anyone be dissappointed because their rifles lost .5 MOA after installation. Customer satisfaction is our primary goal. We try very hard not to make any claims about our products that are not supported by facts and real-world feedback from end-users, and we aren't going to change in that regard.

That is correct. While we were of similar intuition, we now have well-documented reports from multiple government agencies, using BCs out to 990 yards without any significant loss of accuracy.

I'm a believer, not a detractor of the BAC devices

I only have my CQB 10.5" equipped currently with a BAC device so I'm thinking 900yds is a bit much for my little mrp, however 600yds is doable with it on a 12"x20" steel target I believe.
