A version 2.5 is certainly possible but I would need to know what suppressor applications it's suppose to fit in order to get the appropriate locking system and critical dimensions.

Had a little over 800 rounds through my BCM 16" middy build. Has VLTOR A5 with heavy buffer. I installed BC 2.0 then ran 600 rounds during a carbine course. Around 1400 rounds with ZERO malfunctions, and BC performed exactly as advertised! Cannot believe difference. Able to keep on target during high output drills, and follow up shots were easy. I figured a high output class would be a good acid test for my rifle. Thanks M4C, and BC!
I have a couple questions regarding the battlecomp...
1. When I remove and reinstall my BC 1.0 can I reuse the crush washer? Or do I need a new one?
2. Is the Crush Washer used in the pinning process for the BC 1.5?
Thanks for the help!
ATTENTION: What you just read may very well contain sarcasm! Judge me accordingly.
I'm not BC but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express... Crush washers are designed to be crushed once... They are very inexpensive and not a bad thing to have on hand if you plan on swapping out whats hanging on the end of your barrel...
On the 1.5, the crush washer is used the same as it is on the 1.0 and 2.0, the pin is only used to semi permanently attach it to your barrel to satisfy the good folks who work for the BATFE...

I've truly lost count how many rounds I've fired with my Battle Comp. If I were to guess, I'd say over 3k. Maybe even over 4k. I'm just not sure. I will say that I have tried sever different brakes and compensators and very few compare to the recoil reduction, and almost none couple that recoil reduction with little added blast to the shooter and no added flash. The Battle Comp, to me, is an engineering marvel. I know there are other brakes that may control recoil a smidgen better, but you sacrifice length of the device, blast/concussion to the shooter and other shooters/RO's, and muzzle flash. And the price, for me, was very attractive. Also the looks. I know it's not about looks but for some it is, and something that performs well and looks good is great. If you are even considering picking up the Battle Comp and are worried it will 'mask your bad habits', or 'not teach you the proper fundamentals'.. I just really don't think that's the case. The Battle Comp is a great product, but it isn't ****ing pixie dust. It aids in muzzle control, just as a good barrel aids in accuracy as well as a good trigger.. And a good optic. I don't think you have to learn how to shoot a 19XX A2 with X0,000 rounds through it to learn the fundamentals and become a good shooter. The Battle Comp aids in getting hits on target fast just as a good trigger, barrel, and sometimes an optic (although irons up close are arguably quicker). It's a great product and great guys behind the product.
Anyways here's my most recent video of the USSA Multi Gun match at USSA in Tulsa, OK. I placed second behind shoot straighter Phil Strader. It's his full auto 300 blackout at the end of the video.

I cannot say I read every page of this thread, but I have read a LOT of them. Anyways, apologies if this has already been discussed, but I would like some feedback on the effectiveness and value of using a Battle Comp on a SPR type build. I am contemplating a future build of an 18" barrel, and a VLTOR A5 stock setup, with the goal of making a soft shooting accurate rifle, and I thought the BC might make a nice complement to this setup. Thanks for any responses.
I use a BC 1.0 on my 20" precision AR. So far, I like it very much

Personally I would not use a BAC on any true precision rifle where accuracy is the primary focus. I personally only will use open ended muzzle devices on my precision pieces, however I love my BAC 2.0 on my CQB.
Any 18" SS barreled, long railed rifle with mid length or rifle length gas is going to shoot incredibly smooth. With a H buffer it will put you to sleep while shooting it in the prone position. The overall weight contributes heavily into a 18" precision rifle shooting so softly as well. Basically why compromise any potential accuracy at the gain of a "softer" shooting rifle...that is unless your a chick
