    Just wondering - were you guys issued both the 5.56 SU-230/PVS AND the 7.62 SU-230A/PVS? Or did they just give you one or the other and had you make do?

    Yeah they're still shooting great. We had one guy bring his instead of an M-110 for a sniper POI and it shot pretty good, he passed the course and whatnot. Toting a 110 around really made me appreciate the light weight of the Mk17.

    Cool Pic! Like the accessories added to the SCAR.

    If the MK17 even shoots close to the M110 it would worth carrying. Good bit lighter and overall smaller package.

    The SCAR-17S is on my very short list of 2012 gun purchases, thanks in no small part to this thread.
