I've always wondered too what the difference was in the 700 action for the 7 - I assumed it's a standard 700 short ADL with maybe a few lightening cuts added? I really think Remington has always done a poor job of advertising the 7 over all these iterations, considering how much hunters swear by them when they realize its full potential. I'm guessing it is intentional so as not to impact the 700 variants sales numbers? Otherwise, the execs must be really stupid. Thanks for keeping the 7 alive : ) - looks like a coyote brown? Really like the idea of locating the front swivel just in front of the CG - imagine you can really box in the weight of the rifle inside your elbows. I don't think you're limited to 200# with it in a 16" bbl.
