Crappy pic of my el cheapo Savage MKII F. Removed the rear sight and filled the dove tail, cut the barrel down to 16.5, painted barrel black. Re-enforced the fore end of the stock with aluminum, filled the buttstock with foam, cheek rest, OD green paint.

It wears a cheap centerpoint scope. All i need is a bipod, thread job, and can. She likes Wolf MT btw..

"Real men have always needed to know what time it is so they are at the airfield on time, pumping rounds into savages at the right time, etc. Being able to see such in the dark while light weights were comfy in bed without using a light required luminous material." -Originally Posted by ramairthree

Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~ Paul Howe

Ruger 10/22. Wood stock painted black. Rail section mounted on the bottom of the stock for the bipod and/or a flashlight if needed. Cheap Centerpoint lighted reticle 3-9x scope. Great rifle, if I can see it, I can hit it.

An "Old Friend" brought back to life. I pulled my dusty 597 out of the safe the other day and dressed her up a bit. I forgot how accurate this gun is.

    Standard Rem 597
    Weaver Picatinny Rail
    Primary Arms Micro Dot
    Cheapo WalMart Bipod
    Krylon Camo Painted Stock

The PA Micro Dot is a pretty sweet optic for under $100.
