Less than 24 hours turnaround is truly awesome.

Same idea for me now that Colt has Kali legal M4s. Except I'll be using the carbine cut out. SWEET!!!

    Thanks for creating this.

They will be available exclusively through Battle Comp Enterprises and their authorized dealers... If you have a Battle Comp Dealer in Canada, they should be able to order directly from Battle Comp or one of their distributors...

The phrase "elegant in its simplicity" comes to mind. I like simple a lot, since simple doesn't break.

I think this would be really, really good with a middy gas system. It would put your arm at a very good extension for rapid control of the muzzle.

And before the haters come out of the woodwork, $79 MSRP for an initial run of a precision-machined part is not bad.

Buck, congrats on your work. I hope you and BCE sell quite a few of them.

    Stick,
Thanks for the follow up pics. The one showing the light being activated is exactly what I was hoping to see.

Buck or Stick, has either of you tried it with a TLR1?

If so does it obscure the front sight like the TLR on a rail at 12 oclock?

Stick, pics of said TLR mounted? Please sir

Being that it's attached directly to the FSB how does that effect the transfer of heat to the light?

I know the rails get the lights pretty hot even when it's a cutout rail.

I'd love to get my hands on one of these.

    Ask and ye shall receive...

One other thing I forgot to mention... It has a uniquely designed slot to accept an X300, TLR1, Streamlight M3, or insight Procyon with the same adapter that you would use for a Glock pistol. Even though all of those lights have very different latches, it will work with all of them with no fore / aft movement... The mount shields the light from most of the heat and during testing, even with sustained full auto fire, there were no movement or heat transfer issues...
