2700 is way low going by what I've seen over the last 5-6 years.....anybody?
I think I recognize that chart from the M16 Ammo Oracle. It has M193 at 3132 fps out of a 16" barrel.
A shooting buddy and I chronoed a bunch of stuff (Q3131, Q3131A, 223R1 and Ga Arms Canned Heat) a couple of years ago and it all came in well under that threshhold. I think 2950 is a good number for non-M193 considering most of what we saw was between 2900 and 3000 fps.
Principles matter.
