    Aimpoint Vision

You gent's are inspiring me to try and come up w. neat footage....so I have been toying w. a thing I termed Aimpoint vision....basically it's just a reticle eye's view of the T-1's dot and FOV. I have been expiermenting using a Larue QD mount that is modded to work this setup I am trying to refine. I'm almost there....recoil however busted my mount after approx. 45 rds. or so today but I think I'm one real refinement away from getting this sync'd right.

So it's certainly rough footage but nonetheless quite neat I think. I hope some of you find it interesting or enjoyable to watch

    Aimpoint vision aboard the CQB....

    See new links below...

Magic...the 53gr. superformance vmax is the flattest trajectory shooting load Ive found...it's a straight laser beam!

Are we talkin' flatter than 77 gr. SMK, or Nosler types?

If so, I'll try to get my hands on 'em and see how they handle wind at 5/600m.

Oh, dude. Those Aimpoint videos are awesome! Keep 'em comin'!

I'm glad you guys like it, I been mulling over the mounting solution for a day or two and think I got it down pat....however the Canon and Larue mount are just short of married for life Just now trying to learn how to clean up these clips. I'm gonna delete that stupid second youtube channel I didn't mean to start in the first place and the links below are the ones I put on the channel Ive been using.

Magic...far from a ballistic expert but when the 53gr. vmax leaves the barrel and covers at least some significant amt. of distance....it's instantly clear how amazingly flat it shoots...at 317yds through a 10.5" barrel it was really quite unreal to see how flat it shot. This round has a couple things going for it...one, it has a new 53gr. vmax bullet, and secondly it generates almost 225 more FPS over the Hornady 55gr. vmax for example. All in all, I would have to think Hornady specifically designed this round to shoot this flat. I'd love to hear your results if you try it at some distance...I think you will be pleasantly surprised at it's performance

    Thanks for the information Trident.

I'll try and compare it to some 77 gr. match types.

My biggest concern with lightweight projectiles is wind drift.
