I always think of those when I see vids of people tossing a flashbang and then looking away. What if your glasses reacted fast enough to let you already be looking in, and moving as the bang goes off? Maybe it wouldn't help at all. I've never had one go off in front of me to compare...
I have never seen a flashbang go off but i thought they were supposed to be bright enough to temporarily blind you even if your eyes were closed. That would have to be some pretty dark tint if thats the case.
