I used this lower on my 3gun rifle for the 2010 PA State rifle match (rifle only match). It ran smooth and 100% reliable for me.

Just wondering,

- Does it lock back on an empty magazine?
- When pushing in the magazine release, and removing an empty magazine from the rifle, does the bolt close on it's own?

From what I can tell, malfunction/stoppage wise, this appears to be a great change. Would love to get my hands on one for evaluation.

Why wouldn't it lock back on an empty magazine?
This receiver does nothing to send the bolt home.

Would it be possible to retrofit this system(drill a hole in the lower to add the pin and slightly notch the underside of bolt catch) to a standard forged lower?

It was explained to me that if you buy the 'stripped' lower it will come with the AXTS proprietary parts.
