I have a Rolex Datejust 18k gold/Stainless with the 2-tone jubilee bracelet for a dress watch. My soon to be heavy work watch is going to be either a Sea Dweller or a Marathon G-SAR with the steel bracelet.

With those two, a Suunto, and a G-shock, I think l'm covered for the rest of my life.

Just ordered a replacement band like this one... $375 + tax. I guess that's the breaks... pun intended.

I'd love an Omega Speedmaster Professional (the moon watch). They're manual wind and they are very sturdy. Excellent choice for a few grand.

Of course, when I'm not wearing the Rolex I got for graduating from college, I wear a Luminox with a bright orange face and a rubber strap. Perfect for a knock around watch.

I've worn a Rolex Submariner on my wrist, every day, for 18 years.

I haven't tested its 1000' depth qualifications (150'-175' only...and if my watch does make it down to 1000', it'll be attached to my corpse).........I have had it a few times above 16,000' in rather nasty weather...and its done its job.

I like the stainless Rolex line...but I'd probably replace mine with something else just for the sake of trying one of the many cool watches available.

Is it worth the money? To me, yeah.

Been wearing a Seiko Automatic Diver "Black Face" at work for a few months, good strong watch, keeps accurate time. I am finding that nice looking watches attract a lot of attention from the "clients" and will likely go back to a Timex of some kind. Been wanting an Omega Seamaster Ti for sometime though.

I've been wearing a Seiko Chronograph since the mid-1980's. It's got a bi-diretional rotating bezel which is something I use all the time. I've been looking for a watch to take its place for years but, I haven't found anything good enough yet.
