I swear the gun has never been shot. I traded my G23 for this because quite frankly I didn't like shooting it but I like having a 40 cal around so I figured what better platform for the .40 S&W than a S&W that was designed from the ground up for that caliber.

I haven't shot it yet but I stripped and wipped it down with Ballistol and then added several drops of Mobile 1 to the key areas. So far the trigger feels great but I figured a few drops of oil can only help.

I'm planning on hitting the range tomorrow morning and getting some rounds through it.

gotM4 tweaked the trigger for me yesterday to crisp up the reset, as well as replace the factory sights with the Warrens (Robb, it's PERFECT!!). Trial run done at ToddG's NRA Practice Session this evening.

Even after all the work, I was still somewhere like 80% that I was gonna sell it off to a co-worker, but after tonight I'm at least 60% that I wanna keep the thing after all. Between the mods and figuring out that a) I need to use the biggest backstrap and 2) how to get my pinkie out of the way to do reloads that are sorta more smooth than an unfolding lawn chair, my buddy may have to go screw himself.

I have been searching for a new gun to carry when i am wanting a full size gun versus my pm9...so i bought this M&P 9L...gun is awesome i only put 50 rounds through it so far but it worked perfect. I already blacked out the rear dots and painted the front sight green...it will have a doug sear installed on it tomorrow and then sights and an x300 next week or so.
