    Weight loss on the ultimak

We use the ultimak top rail but till now the bottom rail is too heavy for some.
So we cut all the weight we can out for each shooter and the rail is just as light as you would like it to be.

    Before

The prose’s is as easy as you would like to make it just set the rail up how you would like to.
Send it to us we will remove all the weight we can and coat the rail in cear-kote and send it back.

That is sweet. Did you happen to weight the before and product? I curious about the weight savings.

What does that mod cost? PM me if you'd prefer. Thanks

SOB!! I talked with a local guy about this very idea about 2 months ago for an upcoming build idea though I want to a different rail setup than that shown. I'm also interested to see the weight savings

    ETA

Could more weight be cut by putting more "lightening holes" in the newly created non-railed surfaces?

I tried to get UltiMAK to reduce the wall thickness on the unit, but no luck.

They do recommend removing the handguard retainer cap for weight savings on the long version though.
