Not very poor-man's as the parts are all high end.
Personal preference but I think of the Hk grip as something I take off a rifle rather than add to a rifle.

Refined this abit...
Barrel was dimpled & KG GunKoted by Marvin @ Nefarious Arms. Got some weight off the front end, feels much better now.
Switched to a MIAD with all the goodies inside.
Added the UBR Strikeplate just because I was already ordering something else, why not.

You should rename this thread. It's neither a poor man's rifle, nor a battle rifle.
ETA: that's not to say it isn't nice.

Looks pretty dang sweet.
It looks heavy, do you know how much it weighs? Do you feel the T1 is absolutely necessary in conjunction with the ACOG?

Although the looks of the rifle do not suit my taste, I gotta say that is a nice build. My rifle is airsoft quality compared to yours.
