    removing receiver nut

I want to install a Magpul ASAP plate on my lower. ASAP plate, check. Receiver nut wrench.....backordered freaking everywhere. I'm only going to be home for about a week and half and I have to go back to work. Is there a way to remove the nut with tools that are easily accessible? Don't care if I scar up the nut a little. Thanks for any ideas

Ghetto style would be vise grips and electrical tape.

Another ghetto way is to use a screw driver and hammer to loosen it. Stick the screwdriver in one of the notches and hit it with the hammer to break it loose. Just make sure you hit it in the right direction.

But, you really should wait for the castle nut wrench.

Google is your friend....$6 and in stock! Whether they'll ship to Okinawa is another story?
