Well, somehow I slipped through the cracks. I blame verizon at this point. Nick called me up and got me handled straight away.

Apologized profusely to the point where I almost had to tell him to shut up, and got my order processed right there on the spot. I figured it was just some weird chain of events that got me lost.

My comp is on the way, and Nick demonstrated some excellent customer service skills. They very much seem to want to be perfect, both in design of product and customer service. That is all we can ever expect I think, and they are trying hard!

Thanks Nick, and I look forward to using the mount at the shoot I have coming up on the 12th.

I hope you're right! Few products impress me these days... but when I find one I run my mouth like a school girl.

I resemble that remark... I'm sure my coworkers at the Academy are tired of hearing me tell people about it

Remember, the Founding Fathers reason for the 2nd Amendment... to combat tyranny. Sadly, when people discuss the 2nd Amendment, the opponents erroneously think it was meant to stand alone... it HAS a preamble:

"...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security..."

As for designing a unique BCE suppressor, I would love the challenge but I believe that there are some required licenses that we may not be able to obtain as we are located in occupied territory...That would be a question for our two company LEO's.

Could I get a BABCE (Heh Big Awesome BCE!) with 9/16-24 L/H threads for my Para Fal build?

Hey guys, Just got my battlecomp put on last week and hit the range.

I just want to say a few things first. I'm not SWAT, PD, DEA, SEALs or any other significant initials. I'm also new to the AR platform as well. So I don't have a whole lot to compare this to.

What I do know is the following. It made my gun a hell of a lot more fun to shoot. I don't find myself searching for a sight picture again after a few rapid shots. The few people that have shot my rifle have all been very impressed with the lack of muzzle climb and how easy it is to keep on target (one of them was a ex-Marine Corp marksman).

In addition, during the ordering process Capt Nick contacted me to correct an issue with their website ordering process and was nothing but friendly and pleasant to deal with. I got the distinct impression he was genuinely excited to sell me his product. Great people to deal with.

My only regret so far is only having one rifle to put one on. At any given chance I will hand my rifle to someone and recommend the battlecomp.

    Thanks guys

    MistWolf,
Just contact Captain Nick through our website and he'll walk you through how to place a special order. All we ask is that you send us your stock comp/FH so we can ensure correct thread sizing and fit. BTW, I have special affinity for the FN Para....
    Cheers,
    Marty

I can't wait to get it finished. I'm waiting for my barrel to come back from the gunsmith, had to have a gasblock pressed on. Once I get it up & running with the Big As-I mean Awesome BCE I'll let the guys over on the Fal Files know about it. Of course, I'll drop you folks a line as well.

The 5.56x54 is a fun cartridge but 20+ rounds of selfloading 7.62x51 is what really does it for me

    Thanks

The FAL is a tremendous piece of engineering. It has served many countries extremely well for a lot of years. My first exposure was under somewhat less than optimal conditions but thanks to the Para I'm still breathing and annoying our CEO! We'll take good care of you.
    Cheers,

Another reason to love the FN/FAL. Arguably one the most reliable battle rifles ever used.

And Marty, you never annoy me. I have completely accepted you as the mad scientist that you are. Very happy you're on our side!
