That's okay. I was just trying to get a feel as to whether anything has come up and I should plan accordingly. And thank you.

I am loving the Battle Comp so far. There's a saying in business that customers want everything to be high quality, inexpensive, and delivered quickly (good, cheap, and fast) and that you can only ever get any two of those at a time. Well, you guys managed to deliver on all three at once. Thanks.

Not in my experience. Muzzle flash with the BattleComp will not be noticeable or distracting to the shooter especially during the day.

yup. i still haven't noticed any flash during day shooting while shooting. you definitely see a little golfball sized flash from the side, which turns into a baseball at dusk, but certainly no worse than an A2. i haven't done any night shooting yet- it's hard to arrange night shooting during the summer.

I'm coming late to the party, though that has been more or less deliberate, since I wanted to read the thread in it's entirety before commenting -- and with each passing day, I realized that was going to require more and more of a time commitment. Finally set aside an hour today, and it would appear that it was well worth the wait.

In the interest of total disclosure, I started this journey with two main assumptions:

    • That someone was attempting to offer a Triple Tap alternative that was more affordable than the original KAC unit.

    • That this was an effort driven largely by the quest for CA compliance, meaning that, while it might be a great alternative for those in restricted states, it would likely be a compromise product for the rest of us.

Now, if you'll pardon my usual lack of brevity, allow me to share a few thoughts on how the past hour unfolded ...

By the end of page 1, I knew who the "somebodies" were behind the product, and as that inspired a certain confidence, I kept reading.

By the end of page 3, it was clear that CA compliance was merely a tertiary benefit of the design, and that the intent was to deliver anything but a compromise product.

By the end of page 5, it was apparent that the vaunted Triple Tap, while similar, was really a peer competitor. I let that soak in for another page or two, and upon factoring in the price, well ... one needn't be especially bright to reach an obvious conclusion.

By the end of page 8 or so, I realized that, if the 5.56 version was this effective, the 6.8 variant would probably provide an even more noticeable benefit.

By the end of page 10, I was left with the inescapable conclusion that I was just flat-out behind the power curve.

By the end of page 15, I was astonished by the unprecedented enthusiasm that was being expressed by men whom I knew to be serious-minded professionals -- and who were, to a man, proving uncharacteristically generous with their praise.

Well, here we are on page 17 or so, and I've very little to add, save this: BCE, give me the lowdown on the MIL/LE/T&E terms, and I'll pass along my credit card number in a New York minute.

    Done ... and well done.

I've got a brand new Colt SOCOM barrel that needs one. It'll be pinned, so I'll be committed to this brake. From everything I've read, it should be great. It will be a basic, A1/C7 type carbine for SHTF, all-round go to gun. I don't care about pretty, but I want it to run, and be effective. I have a feeling your brake will be a big part of that.

OAL: 1.0 is 1.75" (same as A2), 1.5 is 2.0"(just enough to satisfy legal requirements with pinning), BABC is 2.6"
