Well that's too bad to hear. I shot one they had at the bullpup shoot last fall, and liked it OK. I do expect to see better than average brought to demo at a shoot, but it sounds like the production pieces may differ more than I hoped.
That's a shame; I thought it had the best layout and details of the 10/22 bullpup conversions I saw.
Having said that, I was leaning toward the HTA 90/22 conversion. It looked to strike a good balance between the junky kits and the RJ conversion that costs more than double what I have in the base gun. The HTA was a little less refined, for lack of a better word, but at around $100 less, I don't think I'd miss that on what I know will be a play toy for me anyway.
But until the HTA actually enters production and I can buy one, they are hardly more than imaginary to me.
