Discontinuing the FNP 45 usg ?

called my dealer to order one and he said that his distributor said they're discontinuing the FNP 45 and going with the FNX 45. Has anybody heard this ?

    Thanks

    Wouldn't be surprised.

They hardly set the world on fire.

This is the first I've heard of an FNX-45.

The FNP-45 pretty much already had the "upgrades" the FNX-9 and FNX-40 have now.

The newest is the FNP-45 Tactical with the threaded barrel and RMR mount on the slide.

The FNP 45 is available in the USG DA/SA, MS (Manual Safety). It is also available in the new FNP 45 Tactical Model with a 5.33” Threaded barrel.
The only thing that was discontinued was the standard FNP 45 DA/SA w, Decocker.

    Thank you!

Only because there is a glut of reasonably priced good .45's on the market right now.

Agreed. It seems to be a very good pistol but not enough to cause people to switch from what they already have in M&P .45, Glock 21 FS, HK 45, etc. The FNX series looks quite good but I think they will suffer the same fate.
