I filed on the grip (MIAD) and the lower on my SCAR. Fit is perfect but then again this is what I do every day. I had no problem fixing the lower they way it should have been...

Any particular reason why you switched out the PWS with an A2?

Interesting. Are you going to be getting your barrel cut down, or did you SBR it in advance for when (or "if") the factory short barrels are released?

A short barreled SCAR just makes SO much sense to me

On another note, damn all of you guys! You assholes are tempting me to go out and buy a SCAR for myself, so stop with all the awesome pics already! Jerks

It would be ideal if factory short barrels would become available however I do not believe it will happen. Therefore I plan on sending my barrel to a reputable source to have cut, crowned and threaded to the 10" CQC length.

P.S. (not directed at Paul) - Please refrain from the "you'll lose your accuracy" comments as I am fully aware of the risks and willing to accept them although I believe that it will be fine.
