Bolt carrier comparision, any difference?

This is a DPMS chrome bolt carrier that I used in a SR16 (non E3) for well over 18k rounds.



I cleaned up really easily, and I (statistical sample of 1) was impressed.

Beyond the ability to be cleaned and not pick up carbon build up, I'm not really sure what the gain was.

KevinB, thank you for taking time to post pictures of a DPMS chrome bolt carrier with a high round count.

The chrome DPMS BCG was recommended to me in 2007 by another SME, and he put over 50,000 rounds through it before the extractor broke. No other problems.
