Thanks for the great information. Does anyone have the tritium front HK sight? That would be a good addition to be able to see that insert through the rear aperture.

Well, I finally gave in and ordered one, along with an MI front. I already have Troy's on my new upper, but these will replace the chopped carry handle and Brownell's sights on my old upper that I'm building for the wife.

Hard to pass up at this price.

Weaponparts.com is having a promotion on the Troy sight-the folding rear sight at least.

I placed my order for one at $90, and when I'm checking out it suddenly says, "$76.50". It's $9 shipping, so the total is $85.50.
