Hmmm that's not entirely true and I have no idea where you got that info. The trigger pull is the same but the longer barrel is longer to accommodate Canadian law. SFP means Striker Fired Pistol while the VP stands for "Volkspistole" which is "People's pistol" in German and is the direct descendant of the original polymer striker fired VP70. The reason the SFP9 is named that way in Europe is because there is a B&T pistol called a VP9 so the name has been taken.
Second photo doesn't belong to me but the owners of that beautiful and well used USP45 has over 12,000 rounds through it without a single failure and has used it in several Costa classes

There are only two versions for SFP9 and only one is for export because the TR has German Police specific requirements. Every SFP9 has the SF designation but yours has a longer barrel. The only real difference is the slide in the VP9 is about 40gr heavier.
SFP9-SF specs
Trigger pull - 24n
Trigger pull - 6mm
Return travel - 3mm
Those specs are taken from HK Germany's spec page which are exactly the same as HK USA's VP9 spec page. There is no difference between them as far as trigger pulls are concerned.
