I am going to have Heinie add his Straight-8 sights and call her done.
How are those Hk45C slide release working? I'm still struggling to adjust my grip so that the slide will lock with the stock slide release lever.

I'm looking at the HK45C slide release or the P2000 slim release.

I would have preferred the P2000 slim release, but they are difficult to find. As it is the 45C release works VERY well and has solved the not-locking-back issue for me.

    The family photo!

On the bottom is a catalog from 1975 WITH an original price list!
Clockwise from the bottom left is my first P7 dubbed "Blackie" because of the solid black finish (compared to it's twin.)
My HK4 in .32ACP with the .22lr conversion barrel (not shown).
My second P9S with wood grips (that look an aweful lot like Nill.)
My first P9S I stumbled upon at a gun shop the day I went to pick up another gun I ordered (and sold shortly there after.)
My VP70Z with a better than normal trigger pull.
My second P7, dubbed "Red" because of the red paint I used to fill in the HK logo on the grip.
In the center, as if you could miss it, is my SP89...clone.
It's from MKE and satisfies my "need" for an SP89 without the $4k price tag !AND! I don't feel bad about shooting it!

    No, I don't like H&K guns. I LOVE 'EM!

PW Arms recently brought some in and the prices were good... I've been thinking about picking one up.

They're out there... you see them on GB all the time between $500 and $600.
