not a problem really. The really confusing point is that with the 50yd zero, your next zero point is at roughly 200 METERS. I'll bet there are a few people out there that have fits checking zero at 50 yards and 200 yards, wondering why their POI further out is so different than what is typically reported with the Santose 50yd BZO.

Ammo and meters:yards (1.00:1.09) variance were the only things I could think of when I pondered those charts but some of those 30 yard plots looked far more extreme than I would have expected. Can I assume that ammo selection is the predominant factor that will skew the presumed 25/300 meter (?yard?) return to zero point, and that I just learned that knowing one's ammo is critical in anticipating predictable shot behavior at significant distances from zero?

Found this article on the CSAT website directly pertaining to this topic, so I thought I would post it up for all to take a look at.

Nothing confirms a zero like walking the actual ground and checking the hits on your target. So put away your graphs, charts, knobs, etc. and let's look at some holds and shots.

No, it doesn't. An M16 zeroed for 25 meters using M855 will have a far zero well beyond 300 meters.

Also, the trajectories for M193 and M855 out to 400 meters are nearly identical.

Aimpoint M3, 2 MOA zeroed at 100 yards on HK 416D. Shooting the offset at closer distances.

Could someone show me how to generate these charts?

    I am looking to characterize a 10.3" SBR firing XM193, M855, and MK262 with a 25, 50, and 100 yard zero.

Anyone know where I can buy some 50 meter zero targets? I have a ton of army issue 25 meter zero targets.

The targets are irrelevant, as you are always shooting center of mass. As long as they are large enough for you to see. I've used the standard 25 yard pistol targets, 6' Shoot and See, as well as the 3' ones at 50 yards. The rest, is up to your own individual shooting ability.
