As long as they continue to get away with it, which means as long as there are no serious consequences for getting slapped down. SCOTUS lacks enforcement, which means unless it is serving as a rubber stamp for the occupant of the White House, it is rapidly losing any real significance.

This can work both ways. Let's say the left gains total control in 2025-2028 then stacks the SCOTUS and/or just flips it hard left for the next 50 years. Said SCOTUS then rules that The 2A is for well regulated militias only and rules in favor of Australia type confiscation.

Remember folks... The END GOAL for the left IS Australia type gun confiscation.
