Pennsylvania man tries to fire gun at church service but it misfires

I think the guy tackling from behind had good situational awareness and did a good job.

Is it really a good idea to try and wrestle a gun out of a shooter’s hand like this? It seems it could’ve gotten messy if the gun hadn’t misfired.

Were there any better options to subdue the guy?

    Just me MMQB’ing.

Apparently the man was charged with attempted murder so I’m guessing he at least had live rounds in the gun.

A search of his home turned up a dead body. He’s saying God told him to do it.

That's what you get with a jennings. Who knows if he even tried to fire it or not. Maybe he just wanted to scare the guy.

Apparently the man was charged with attempted murder so I’m guessing he at least had live rounds in the gun minimum. He may have even pulled the trigger for such a strong charge to be brought versus a menacing charge or the like.
