Have a carbine length gas system, with an Enhanced carrier but a Cryptic Coatings bolt, and an H2 buffer. The M855 I have cycles *mostly*, but the MK318 is hit or miss. Does the Enhanced carrier mean an H2 buffer isn't needed? That is the first thought I had; maybe drop to an H buffer or even a standard carbine one?
