I'm curious how well the 75 grain offering performs in a defense load

They also have a 55 grain 224 bullet and a 110 grain 30 caliber bullet.

The specs seem to match up to VMAX in the 55 and 110 grain weights.

That sure looks like a PSA / AAC 75gr Sabre Blade Black Tip.

I literally never need to buy another 5.56 bullet for the rest of my life, but I'd try these if I had extra cash.

I just ordered 250x of the exact bullet yesterday. Will let you guys know.
On the sidenote, I tried campro 62gr ss109 bullets that Brownells carries. It doesn't group. Some said the steel penetrator tends to be off center, affecting accuracy. The bullet is surely longer than lead core design. Not buying them anymore.

Well of course they're not grouping that well.
American Reloading has had SS109 pulls for dirt cheap forever, but nobody buys them, as most of us already have a ton (or should!!) of M855 on hand, and if we're going to the trouble of reloading even training ammo, we want it as accurate as possible.
Loading SS109s would seem like a waste of time to me.
Received the bullets. They look clean and tidy. Took 15 random samples and weighed.
Mean 75.02gr
Sd 0.07gr
I would say the bullet weight 75gr +/- 0.2%. Excellent for the price.
Will work up a load when I have a chance.
