    Perhaps they damaged the barrel trying to take it off.

    I don't like proprietary designs. True that they took good care of you. But all that costs money, which they have factored in the price of their products.

    Sure. Understand your point.

    When I bought this rifle in 2013, I really didn’t know much beyond my rudimentary knowledge from the USAF. So I bought a reliable AR I didn’t expect to mess with. And it serves me well…and flawlessly.

    Now it’s a bit more easy to properly operate as now I can better control the muzzle. I expect it to be G2G for another 10-20 years…at which time I’ll be in my 80’s and pretty near out of miles ahead.
