    CZ-USA is on life support...

Ordered a part on 1 April (making a Scorpion plus hybrid). It was marked in stock. Three weeks later the part has NOT SHIPPED. I called and it SHOULD ship this week.

The poor parts manager lost all of his staff earlier in the month.

OK - so the 'merger' with Colt is killing CZ USA. Not a happy time.

And... their answer when I called was "would you like to cancel the order?"

I believe Colt successfully killed them.

I am NOT getting pushback on the CZ forum. CZ USA is all but dead.

Cannot predict the future, but it is pretty broke. BTW - their site to order parts was down for weeks before I could order my parts. They be broke. I feel bad for many of the folks who worked there under decent leadership.

Don't get me wrong - MAYBE someone else ends up with them and they become better than ever - but right now, its bleak.

They didn't merge with Colt, they bought Colt.

This could just be the reorganization phase where they figure out where they are building what. I also imagine the focus is on pushing out Colt product which is in greater demand.

It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

With out really trying for some reason I end up with HK and CZ guns. Hasn’t been a conscious brand loyalty type thing, for some reason they end up my gun safe. It would be a shame if we lost access to CZ guns. A BrenII just appeared in my gun room .

To be clear, what are you saying. Service sucks, I think they are going down; or do you have some specific information?
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

BL: Their business model is broken.

I've been dealing with their CS before they offered shipping labels and would damage your gun if they were POed that day. Then everything changed and they were great to deal with etc. Recently NOT so much. I noticed changes in a recent issue with a firearm around Christmas and slipshod manufacturing, then this. It is not based on one incident.

I heard folks complain because of the Colt merger - now I believe their problem is more substantial.

I heard of someone who is now going to ditch his CZs. I wouldn't do that. Again, some other entity could step in and make it right - cuz right now, its broke. Your whole parts staff doesn't walk out for no reason, and I am betting it is systematic.

You don't have to believe me.

"They didn't merge with Colt, they bought Colt." No argument there. I just know what happens when one company buys another and what may really be happening. Been there, suffered that.
