A law folder on a 5.5" FM9 makes a 14" OAL package when folded. That makes it possible to carry a lot of increased lethality very inconspicuously.

Updating this as I finally got around to building a lower around the RAB-AD per Yoni's comment above.

Its pretty simple to install and I like that it doesn't force you to stick something in the back of the BCG.

Haven't shot it yet, but hope to soon.

This coupled with the Cry Havoc or Dolos takedown system would allow one to fit an AR in a very small bag.

I don't have an upper for this one built yet. I may just try one of the one's you mention to complete the package. Which one would you buy?

I went with the Cry Havoc, see post #15 for the link to my build.

I don't know how I missed that one. Very nice. I was leaning toward that one since the AF has adopted it...............Very nice build.

There is also the option of a folding lower like the Shield Arms.

I have the LAW and a Shield Arms lower but have not sued the Shield Arms though it is assembled.

I did have the LAW folder come lose on me at a class. I was still able to use the rifle but had to retighten everything after the first day of class. It was fine for the further two.

Which piece(s) came loose, if you recall? They don't call for it, but I put blue thread locker on the set screw just in case.
