Yes of course. I should have been more specific, AKs are the only other firearm in this class that I train with on a regular basis.

I have options, options are good, more options are better.

    I already own folders, bull-pups and sub-guns.

I'm fairly certain my MP5K's are shorter than 17" but they're also 9mm and I'm sorry, but my HK's aren't going to be tossed around in my truck or backpack.

I figure I can get close to 2K FPS with 77gr bullets out of this which will mean bullet selection will be more important. Wanted to get to the range today but didn't make it.

Only time I ever rolled my MP5k-PDW with a serious expectation of need was during the Trayvon riots in south Florida. I have a laptop bag that it fit perfectly in and 2 mags fit a external power adapter pocket. It was on my shoulder all the time, sometimes you just have to find the right kind of back pack.

When I was picking my wife up from work, had a SIG on my hip, my PDW in a laptop bag and my M4 in a rifle case behind the seat. Thankfully I managed to drive around hot spots when picking my wife up from work, but every day they threatened to block traffic on the interstate and you never knew exactly where the stupid was going to happen.

Other times during post hurricane events, I had a heavy plastic tool box that just happened to perfectly fit a 6920 size upper and lower with room for about 8 magazines. That went everywhere I went. I could get it up and running in a few seconds but more importantly a cheap looking tool box didn't get a second glance from anyone. One nice thing about Iowa open carry laws is they include long arms so I could actually sling a 6920 and walk through town without any need for a permit although I keep a CCW for those times my firearm will be concealed.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.
