Sadly I'm aware. I remember Spring Break in the 80s and I remember when they decided to kill it in the 90s thinking Ft. Lauderdale would be the new Orlando. About the same time Navarro and the BSO were chasing 2 Live Crew around town and doing investigations for obscenity lyrics while crack was LITERALLY being sold across the street from the new BSO public safety complex.
Then there was the neat time Navarro had BSO cooking up their own crack in BSO labs so that their undercovers would have product to sell in sting operations.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
