    Those old P&Rs have some of the nicest actions of any 20th century firearm. Here's mine.

    I have a friend who spent gobs of money on Colt Pythons. He sent one off for an action job and spent more money.

    I shot those revolvers and was underwhelmed.

    My Highway Patrolman is a much better weapon. Seriously one of the best wheel guns to be had

    I like my Python, Colt did have really nice wheel guns, but I don't think many things beat a vintage Smith. And honestly the last thing a Colt Python needs is an action job. Same idiots tune Series 70s until they won't reliably feed ammo. The reason people buy old Smiths and Colts is because they really don't need anything.
