I thought BS (funny that's his initials) was exposing these bottom feeders well. No, Trump is not moral light of a person to be sure, I still think his real mistake was paying her off vs telling her to go pound sand. He made the same mistake "I did not have sex with that woman" Clinton did by trying to bury it vs simply fess up to it, and say it's a private matter between he and wife wife and a bad decision made, etc:

If I were to rent a porn chick, I'd pick a hot one at least. No accounting for taste, I suppose.

Agreed, I thought same about Clinton and Monica. He's POTUS, that's the best he could do? If you're gonna do dumb things that risk your career, be like JFK and hook up with really attractive movie stars at least. These guys really don't have great taste it seems.

Stormy probably looked a bit better 20 years ago.

Unless someone is married to a multi-millionaire supermodel 25 years their junior, they really ought to think twice before commenting on anything related to women. Ted Cruz learned the hard way.

VP pick for Trump. No reason to continue the topic in the Tulsi G thread. Who would be a good choice? Remember one important thing, VP is not who you like per se, it's about if the VP brings in a demographic the front runner can't, so a woman, a POC, etc will be on the short list I'd expect. That's the job of picking a VP these days, and little else. What about Tim Scott? I don't know much about his voting record and policies myself. He didn't say anything in the debates that bothered me, just seemed run of mil middle ground type, bordering on RINO. The second most important part of a VP is not to outshine the front runner, so maybe that puts Tim Scott in a good spot. He's not what I'd call a shining light on stage. No doubt a VP that has mojo in DC circles is important, but it's moot if they don't get in the WH, and that's (supposedly...) about votes.

Judge reduces the absurd half-billion dollar bond in the whack job James case to a lower but still absurd $175 million. Trump has reportedly said he will move ahead and pay the new bond amount.

In related Trump news... stock DJT is reportedly going public this week. At current price, Trump is set to get $3-4 billion in stock.

In other related news... Trump's attorney in the whack job Willis case has said that with the new appeal there's no way the case moves forward before the election.

In 2016 Trump was relatively unknown in the political arena. With democrats attacking Trump on morals it made sense to pick Pence to help ease apprehension among evangelicals. 8 years later... the average American has heard the name "Trump" a zillion times a day, every day. I don't believe a VP pick will have a significant impact on those who would otherwise not vote for Trump.

According to polling, there's been a significant shift among blacks and hispanics toward Trump. No VP pick pandering required. They, like any other rational American, sees current conditions under Biden and remembers what things were like under the Trump presidency.

Don't know who Trump will pick but I'm thinking it will include youth and competence to carry the torch after Trump's second term. Too bad DeSantis dicked the possibility. Would have been a solid team.

Agreed it won't matter to never-Trumpers. It should however matter to Trump and GOPe voters alike, because that will be the standard-bearer 4 years from now. Unless of course they shoot their dick off like Pence and Kamala have done.

Don't care what you say, it wasn't DeSantis who "dicked" it. At best it was a mutual disliking, realistically it was Trump's mouth and Tweets that caused the rift. I said a long time ago that there wouldn't be a Trump/DeSantis ticket, and there won't be. We'll need to move past that apparently and not think about "what could have been".

Trump "dicked" it first, but regardless, while they could have made a good team, per what I said, don't see Desantis bringing in a demographic Trump can't, so doubt he'd get picked anyway.
