I purchased a new 1894C 357 a few years ago and paid too much at $600 because they were difficult to find. Ruger is making the Marlin brand now so maybe it's better rifle or quality wood stock, I don't know, but $1,300? That's more than a JM in good condition when I was looking used. Does the price reflect pent-up demand or is it something else?




They are a lot of fun to shoot though, and cheap if you reload.
