I'm building a 14.5" carbine with a DD RIS II handguard. I'd like the final configuration to be able to stand up to carbine classes, inclement weather, etc, but there is no need for the carbine to meet any sort of military specs for extended use in harsh conditions, OTB, or anything like that.

Given the above, do you guys see any issues with me using a PRI low profile adjustable gas block under the DD RIS II?

I have one of these on hand, so I thought I'd see if it's OK to throw it on my build. It'd also help me tune the gas port, as the barrel is 6.8SPC and I don't have a lot of experience with gas ports in this caliber
