Did you end up staying with the SLx or did you move on? Just to clarify, did the PA SLx co-witness with the front sight?

I moved on to a RMR. Trijicon RM02 RMR Type 2 LED Reflex Sight (6.5 MOA Red Dot Reticle, Matte Black)

I really like the RMR. This one is 6.5 Mao and non-adjustable, runs for at least 2 years, and since mine rests in a closet it runs a long time. I swap the battery once per year. I like how low profile and durable it is. Plus I am used to RMRs on my pistols and offset on my rifles.

I have a 509T on an ADM QD mount on the factory rail.

It looks good sitting in the safe...

I've been through a few different dots on my 1301, but have settled on the 509T as well, in a crom mount, and really like it.

I really like the 509T as well. I considered the CROM...It looks like a really nice piece of kit and it gets the sight a little lower, but I find the QD mount on the factory rail works like 90% as well and it saved a couple bucks. If the sight dies, I can just hit the lever and be back to irons pretty quick.

I just need to get to the range more.
