Having built an ICF home 23 years ago, I feel confident that the walls would survive anything short of a 20mm. Our wall system is 6" of reinforced concrete with 6-8" of local stone facing. It is solid, sturdy and quiet. Of course the windows and doors are noe the weak Ares but I have a stash or empty sandbags for those areas. Now all I need is a yard of sand that is protected from the elements so it won't be a weed bed!

Fwiw, the construction at the time was at a premium of 10% over the cost of 2x6" wood studs.
