Back to the armor topic, does he want us wearing soft and hard or are just plates fine?

FYI: 3:00 PM Friday (May 11, 2007 - Day 1) - Holiday Inn parking lot

Ken & Larry are going to meet us there and then we will follow them to the range. This is the Holiday Inn discussed in the lodging info provided by Ken. Everybody should have received this by now. If you did not receive it or you need it again please contact me.

    - Dinner is provided so you don't have to worry about it.

    Hello Steve,

IF you want to wear armor that's up to you. The only place it will be required is in the Shoot House portion of the class (Pistol caliber only).

Just so the armor issue doesn't get misunderstood again: You do not need your own vest or plates. They will be provided. Ken and Larry have plenty to go around and in enough sizes to fit everybody.

    - IF you own and want to shoot your own pistol caliber carbine you can bring it but it's not required. Ken & Larry have loaners for this also.

Roger that. I will bring a 9mm carbine for anyone to use (must supply own ammo though).

Does this mean I have to bring some 9mm ammo? If so, how much? TIA.

Larry said not to worry about it, but if you want to shoot Grant's I would bring some.

My suggestion is to bring 50-100 9mm rounds just to be safe. It's not required, but might be a good idea.

Correction: The shoot house portion is pistol caliber rated (9mm, .40, .45, etc) and is not limited to just 9mm.

I have edited my earlier posts to fix this mistake.
