Colt Model numner?

my local ffl has a few AR15A3 in stock and im wondering where to find the model numbers. i see people talk about the 6920 exc. but am wondering where on the rifle/box to find this info.

The model number of the gun inside, is printed on the label, on the end of the box. Lower left corner of label.

An AR15A3 Tactical Carbine is a 6721.

A 6721 is a 16" carbine, HBAR with 1x9 twist chrome lined barrel and the side sling swivel. The newest ones that I've seen (we got several in the other day) now have M4 handguards where they previously had carbine (round) handguards. Same thing with the 6520s we got they too have M4 handguards.
