    Pretty slick, though I'd be worried about the screw issue. I would think a shorter screw would be a better idea than just leaving it backed out a bit. The way a Makarov's grips attach, it seems like it would allow the frame to wobble in the grip that way. At the very least, it would put a ton of strain on the bar that interfaces with the magazine release. I would have also like to have seen him drop empty mags, not just a weighted, full magazine. The beaver tail looks a little goofy on a Makarov, but it may just be a matter of getting used to it.

    None of my Mak mags drop free. I thought that was how they all were. I'd be into this if I could figure out how to make them drop out.

    The Makarov doesn't have drop-free magazines. The grip adds the functionality with a lever, and also moves the mag release up towards the slide.

    I like the Hogue grip for the Makarov, but that looks pretty sweet.
