    100 years (99 actually) of "progress" -

Top is a recent inheritance. 1917 S&W fielded by my great-grandfather in WWI. Bottom is my old reliable.

The m1917 shoots like a dream. Surreal to hold that piece of history in my hand.

I change the grips on my Colt 1917 every once in awhile. I love the looks of the faux stag but Pachmayr shoot better for me.
I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn when I first got it. Then I hand loaded 250 gr flat points in auto rim cases and accuracy improved dramatically.

My Brazilian 1917. The web belt is an actual WW I belt. Everything else is repros.
Paranoia is more than a personality trait, it's a survival skill.
