Day in the Life of a Blade Show 2010 Table Holder

If I were a full time maker I for sho! Need to be figuring a faster way to get handles finished but since I normally don’t make this many its not really an issue until BLADE!!!!

Got a good start yesterday and really need to get these handles finished this weekend so I opted for a covert tactic……………

These are the ones I got handles finished on yesterday.
Check out that coffee!!! I like my coffee like I used to like my drinks. High Octane!!

Here is what I need to get over to the done with handles table.

Guess actually I didn’t do to bad time wise. Next session I’ll ease the spines and add thumb grooves on some and also make sure I have sheath patters. If not - That’s what I’ll be making next Sunday but not getting up at DARK!

I'm not able to take orders due to a way long wait time. Small knives start at $225 but I don't normally have any around that aren't built for orders. That's basically why no pricing.

These will be at the bladechow in like 5 weeks. I have a shit load of sheaths go make still.

    Thanks for the comments guys!!!

Brian, what steels do you work with or prefer?

I mainly use 0-1 steel. It will patina with use. I like how it holds and edge and is easy to sharpen. I have sort of become known for the hammon line on my 0-1 knives so most guys order that as its not typically seen every day with the etched finish as well.

I like D2 bor a more stain friendly knife and put a satin finish on those.
